Indian Hill Manor &
Farm Historic District

Designed for Charles and Esta Barrett by architect Charles Bradley and landscape gardener O. C. Simonds, the Manor stands majestically above the Rock and Kishwaukee Rivers.

Indian Hill Manor and Farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Manor and Farm is an example of a “country gentleman’s farm,” a rural retreat from the city that was popular among wealthy families during the early 1900s.
